Transitional Style Thera-Glide
The Transitional Style Thera-Glide Safety Glider helps reduce falls with a patented (Patent: US 6406095B1, CAN 2323398) automatic-locking system that prevents rocking while entering or exiting the chair. Once safely seated, the lock disengages, permitting the user to experience a soothing gliding motion. When exiting the Thera-Glide, the lock automatically engages again for a steady, safe egress. It's like getting into and out of a stationary chair.
Now anyone can enjoy the benefits of a rocking chair without the risks. Whether in a home, assisted living, nursing facility or hospital labor and delivery, the Transitional Style Thera-Glide is a meaningful addition to a Fall Prevention Program.

The Thera-Glide remains locked when unoccupied so it can steady a person walking nearby without fear of moving that could create a fall risk.
Additionally, the Thera-Glide's adjustable seat height uniquely adapts to different users while its automatic infinite locking system secures the chair precisely at the best angle for an individual's safe exit.
The Thera-Glide features a lock-out lever located at the back of the chair that can be turned to disable the glide motion and create a stationary chair. The chair can be locked in an angled position to fashion a wedge seat to manage slumping and sliding.
